Fun time with a test drive experience with exclusive driving techniques by Word Championship Ferrari racers
Cavallino Motors Co., Ltd., Thailand’s sole importer of Ferrari, welcomed Year 2019 with its annual exclusive activity – Esperienza Ferrari Thailand 2019, held on Jan 24-25 at Phothalai Leisure Park, Bangkok. As the event’s highlight, Cavallino Motors invited Ferrari clients in Thailand to experience test drives for the Ferrari Portofino and Ferrari GTC4Lusso T models. The drives were taught, and the techniques given by Ferrari instructors who were also world championship Ferrari racers from Italy.
Two instructors joining Esperienza Ferrari Thailand were Italian professional racing drivers – Marco Bonanomi, who races in the FIA World Endurance Championship, and Marcello Puglisi from the GP2 World Championship. The driving techniques included choosing a driving mode suitable for each road condition, how to ensure that the engine works best when driving at speed with safety, to name of a few. Participants and the instructors took most of their time exchanging personal views on their Ferrari favorites. The participants had a chance to test the full capacity of both Ferrari models which most considered easy and comfortable to drive.
Ferrari Portofino is the latest GT convertible model. The car is powered by a 3.9L V8 twin-turbo with a power output of 600 hp. Meanwhile, the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T is a 4-seat sports car, designed with a shooting brake-body design and a 3.9L V8 twin-turbo engine.
