Bangkok, 14 November 2025 – Cavallino Motors, the official sole importer and service provider of Ferrari in Thailand, proudly announced the “Ferrari 849 Testarossa South-East Asia Premiere”, a grand regional unveiling that took place today at The Pinnacle Hall, ICONSIAM, Bangkok which has been ranked a "Top Three Most Influential Retail Property Project of the Past 30 Years" at the MAPIC Awards 2025

This highly anticipated event marked the first debut in South-East Asia of Ferrari’s latest masterpiece — a rebirth of the legendary “Testa Rossa” name, first introduced in 1956 with the 500 TR. The iconic red cylinder heads, long synonymous with high-performance Ferrari engines, returned to a new era of innovation, luxury, and driving emotion.

During this spectacular event, Cavallino Motors took guests on a journey through one of the most influential eras in Ferrari’s history — the golden age of the supercar, when the 1984 Ferrari Testarossa redefined automotive culture. The new Ferrari 849 Testarossa paid homage to that timeless legacy, blending classic DNA with cutting-edge design and technology from Maranello, bringing the past and future together in one breathtaking creation.

The Ferrari 849 Testarossa SEA Premiere was a rare opportunity for Thailand’s Ferraristi to be the first in the region to witness this extraordinary machine in person. The event delivered a truly world-class experience — combining elegance, excitement, and innovation in an atmosphere that reflected the spirit and prestige of the Prancing Horse.

Prior to the official commencement of the event, the management team of Cavallino Motors, led by Mr. Voravud and Mrs. Nandhamalee Bhirombhakdi, together with Mr. Charles Antoine Geneste, Head of Region (SEA & India), Mr. Marco Spessoto, Product Marketing Manager, and distinguished guests from various countries, participated in a tribute ceremony in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

The ceremony included a one-minute moment of silence before Her Majesty’s portrait as an expression of profound loyalty, respect, and heartfelt gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence and grace.

In addition, Cavallino Motors made a donation of 500,000 Baht to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer in honour of Her Majesty The Queen Mother, to support the Centre’s ongoing mission in aiding patients and advancing its medical initiatives.

Ferrari 849 Testarossa: The Pinnacle of Power and Purity

At the heart of the Ferrari 849 Testarossa lies a modified version of the V8 Twin-Turbo engine, developed from the same lineage that has earned Ferrari multiple International Engine of the Year awards. The powertrain delivers an astounding 830 cv, revving freely to 9,500 rpm, and is paired with an advanced hybrid system derived from Ferrari’s Formula 1 technology.

This hybrid configuration integrates three electric motors — two on the front axle and one at the rear — providing a combined output of over 1,050 cv. Power is managed through a Variable All-Wheel-Drive system with Torque Vectoring, ensuring unmatched traction, responsiveness, and control under all conditions.

To complement this immense power, Ferrari has engineered the largest turbochargers ever fitted to a production model, enhancing throttle response and acceleration while preserving the signature sound and character that define Ferrari engines. The latest Brake-by-Wire system, combined with ABS Evo Controller, offers exceptional precision and stability under braking.

Meanwhile, a newly developed suspension setup — including bespoke springs and dampers — elevates the car’s agility and feedback at the limits of grip. Structural weight optimization gives the 849 Testarossa the best power-to-weight ratio ever achieved in a Ferrari production car, maintaining a curb weight comparable to the SF90 Stradale despite its substantial power increase.

Design: A Timeless Fusion of Emotion and Innovation

The Ferrari 849 Testarossa represents a revolutionary evolution of the mid-engined Berlinetta concept. Inspired by 1970s Ferrari Sports Prototypes, its design captures both raw mechanical emotion and contemporary sculptural purity.

Every surface is aerodynamically honed — resulting in 415 kg of downforce at 250 km/h, a 25 kg improvement over the SF90 Stradale, and a 15% enhancement in cooling efficiency for both the powertrain and braking systems.

Inside, the cockpit embodies Ferrari’s philosophy of driver-focused architecture, combining refined luxury with a forward-thinking digital experience. The central sail, featuring the iconic gated gear selector inspired by the F80 concept, serves as a sculptural centerpiece. A new steering wheel replaces touch controls with physical buttons for a more tactile connection, while the signature engine start button amplifies the thrill of ignition.

Ferrari’s latest Human-Machine Interface (HMI) enhances interaction through intuitive control and natural response, allowing the driver to focus purely on the exhilaration of driving.
